I'm the "Kangaroo" baby. When ECR rescued me from the Carlsbad pound I thought, "This is the end of the line. I'm going to be dumped again". I was so scared that my foster mom had to carry me around all day in an infant carrier just so I wouldn't cry. I ended up in a warm home with lots of food and even a cat to play with. I was only 4 months old when someone threw me away, probably because my leg was broken. I'm going to need surgery, but ECR promises to make me like new again. You can see me by special request. I am cute and scared and want someone to put me in their arms and protect me. My left back leg is missing its paw. It probably happened at birth. It doesn't hurt me but I don't have much use for it. Roswell Humane thought it would have to be amputated but ECR said they would like to get me a prosthesis paw instead. But that will cost a lot so they are collecting money for it.
